Becoming a better Christian Singles

In this article, we’re going to look at what we need to do as a Christian Singles to become the right person. To become the right person, we need to do the right thing.



So, I’d like to propose to you that the best way to discover the extraordinary life that God has in store for each of us, is to have a close relationship with Him. We can go to church, be involved in tons of things and still not have a personal relationship with God.



If you already having a daily devotional time, I just want to encourage you to keep going.



But, if you don’t have this kind of daily time with God, I want to help you get started.

"The 5/5 Challenge" is this: Read your Bible 5 minutes and Pray 5 minutes each day.

You might think that 10 minutes per day is not a lot of time, but 10 minutes is a really a good start. And at the end of the week, it’s more than an hour. The main point is to take some time with God, each day. By doing "The 5/5 Challenge," your life will change and God will give you the strength that you need to do what God is calling you to do.





Try to avoid making the kind of New Year’s resolution where you plan to read and pray 30 minutes per day, right away at the beginning. You do it for a week or two and you quit. Start with 10 minutes per day and keep doing it.



Becoming the right person is not a sprint, it’s a marathon. Suppose you’ve never run before and you decide to run a marathon. You won’t be able to accomplish it if you don’t follow progressive training. You will need to start to run 1 mile first, then 2 miles, then 5 miles, until you reach 26 miles. It’s the exact same thing with your daily devotional time. Start with your "5/5 Challenge" and you will see, trust me, your 5/5 will become 10/10, 15/15 and 30/30.



So, Let’s do it, and start becoming a better person, a "ONE-IN-A-MILLION."
